Despite their economic limitations Venezuela and Dominican Republic are the nations which have most contributed to Haiti’s reconstruction

Alfredo Murga said the large countries such as the United States and those of Europe have made only empty promises, while Haiti’s reconstruction hasn’t had the global support it should, citing as example that the two billion dollars pledged by ex U.S. president Bill Clinton have yet to reach that country.
